An experienced engagement specialist and facilitator, Brittany understands the value and critical importance of bridging differences and bringing people together for meaningful dialogue. Whether it be discussing changes to communities and neighborhoods, understanding a changing company culture or creating strong bonds between industry and citizens, Brittany and her team are able to carefully stitch together the fabric that leads to strong communities.
After completing a Political Science degree at the University of Alberta, Brittany enjoyed a career in the fields of Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety serving in the public sector as well as the energy and construction industries. This strong drive to help people and bring them together manifested in her role in stakeholder relations for Alberta’s largest homebuilder association and as a public engagement specialist with a national firm.
Feeling a strong draw back to public service, Brittany took the position of Press Secretary to the Minister of Labour and Immigration in 2019 and later served as the Executive Director of Government Caucus for Premier Jason Kenney and the United Conservative Caucus.
Brittany is certified with IAP2, the International Association for Public Participation, and has led community engagement work from large municipal infrastructure projects to small facilitated engagements. Her passion lies with finding the perfect technique to bring everyone to the table.
